Walmart grocery sales rose the most in nine years due to its improved fresh food offerings, according to the company. Walmart's CFO said curbside pickup of online grocery orders is bringing in new customers who hadn't shopped at Walmart before. In the its second quarter, Walmart's U.S. same-store sales increased about 4.5%, while Sam's Club was up 5% for the strongest quarter in six years, reported Bloomberg.
